Car Hunt and more

So today dad and I got together and started hunting for cars at 10ish and went to looooads of different dealerships and looked at a lot of differnet cars. Each was tempting and had good things about them. We ended up getting conned a couple times and wasting a lot of time, but in the end (and by the end i mean 7pm) we found a nice 2 door civic ex 2006, test drove it...loved it and got it. We left the dealer around 8:30 (they closed at 9)

We then went to try test driving dad's dream car...the Infiniti G37 Journey. We found a gray one and they let him drive it. He loved it.

I went to bed way too late after taking a long bath...those are the best! And only woke up on Tuesday because house keeping came by and in broken english did the whole "House keeping, hello?"

So then we went out with Dad and headed to Best Buy in our caravan of cars and then looked for a car sterio for Jenise. We got her one and then dad had to leave for Mexico City. I then helped Jenise figure out her stereo until she had to leave for St George. I had NO plan for the rest of the day and ended up talking with Dan Rust (my trainer) and i went with him and his wife and a little group of their friends to see the new batman movie (which was awesome). I had no place to stay for the night and when i took Dan and his wifey out to see my car they asked me where i was going to stay ... i responded with "here in my car" so they told me to stay with them. so i did.

Sunday

So its late Sunday night, my parents arrived with Abby here in Provo and we're chillin in our hotel room. We're looking at cars online and trying to find something fun.

So today I woke up pretty late and then went to church with Rebekah Barrett, an old friend from Minnesota. We then went to her place after church and had chicken alfredo+pasta. We stayed over with her for 5 hours and talked about a lot of fun things. I had a great time with Rebekah, her sister Janelle and Jenise. Then we left around 10-10:30 and then left to meet up with mom and dad.

Leaving Rexburg

So i stayed up way too late last night packing and then finished this morning. I then went with Matt (my new room mate) and moved in to our new apartment at Nauvoo house. Its a nice place. I ended up leaving most my stuff there.

Then i rushed off to Melissa's and helped her load up ALL the stuff she had. She's a girl, and that implies that she had a ridiculous amount of stuff to take. We ended up filling the entire truck bed of one of her family friend's truck. I have 1 bag and my backpack. We then went to Brother Hardmens house to wait her mom's arrival. The Hardmens fed us although they had other guests over at their house and they soon after left us alone in the house (which was a little wierd) as they went tubing down a river. Melissa and I watched Shaun of the Dead, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. I liked both movies. We then played some wierd tile game called Rummbikub or something. I lost. We had a lot of time to ourselves and ended up talking about "our relationship" and decided not to try the whole long distance thing but to enjoy the time we had together and see what happens in the winter (she's off track until January). So we'll see....Anyway, we got to the Hardmen's around 10:30 and left around 6:30. Which got us in Provo at 11:00 where i got with Jenise and came to our hotel room.

Tomorrow should be a good day. We're going to church with Rebekah Barrett and then meeting up with Hermana Murillo (from my mission). Im pumped!

School's out for the summer!

I finished with my last two finals, all went well enough. Physics was real good, and spanish was a little harder than i thought. we'll see how that ends. I leave tomorrow morning for Utah with Melissa and tonight i don't really know what is going to happen, but im excited!

Ok well, the night was a lot of fun. Melissa, one of her friends and myself....we all went out to Craigo's and had some good pizza/pasta. It was fun, and kinda funny because we ran into Ariel and that other guy (his name is Joe) so that was crazy. Anyway, we walked home and watched Second Hand Lion. It was a fun night. Then i started the whole packing thing, and i've been laboring with that since 2am. Bla!

The dunes n such

So last night Melissa and I, along with Matt and Dezzy, went out to the sand dunes that are just north of Rexburg and had a little camp fire. We made smores and listened to some Jack Johnson. At one point in the evening another group started launching off some pretty nice fireworks. So it was a really fun night. Full moon, stars, fireworks, camp fire and smore. What more can you ask for?

Yesterday i also started packing up my stuff, and that required me to put away my snowboard stuff. Well it's been 2+ years since I've used it all, so i decided to try it on and run around the dorms a little to see if it still fit. I guess it does! Anyway, i ended up wearing the headband for the majority of the night (date included)

Thursday, woo

So, I am up here at BYU-Idaho. Its my last week here and we've got finals going on. I think that most people make way too big of a deal out of finals; i know they are important but not enough to kill myself from stress. Either way, I have two finals left: spanish and physics. I'm not too worried about the physics one mostly because I understand all that jazz, but the spanish final might be a bit difficult. Its based on the many different books and short stories that we've read in the class and the authors/where they are from. Memorizing is the key.

Tonight I am heading out with Melissa on a double date. We are going out to the dunes with Matt and Dezzy. We are planning on having a bon fire and some good ol' fashion fun with s'mores n such. I'm excited.

So today all I had was my Teachings of the living prophet's final. It was a 5 page paper and then we had the entire class time to share our thoughts, kind of fast and testimony meeting style. It was nice to hear everyone's thoughts about what they had learned from the last general conference. This morning I was invited to play with my old soccer teacher's new soccer class. It was the old class VS the new class, or that was the plan. Not enough people from my class showed up so we just had a big scrimmage, but it was fun. So i guess my cleats need some taping because the turf has been eating them up. Other than all this, things are good.

Heyo

So this is kinda my first blog and I just wanted to test out a couple of the things this place has to offer. I am making this so my family and friends can see what I am up to, and save me the hastle of writing letters to everyone n such. Well I hope this works out.

Here's a pic from Bali just after I got back from serving as a missionary in Oakland for two years.
