So I've been in Mexico City for the last week and have been thrown into multiple crazy situations where my Spanish has been tried and tested. Mom and Dad have had to set up the TV, phone, and internet services. Not only did I end up having to go back and forth between the sales men and Dad/Mom translating business terms but ordering everyone's food, dealing with parking and the people who work at the apartment complex. This was pretty easy in comparison to the accident that Dad had with someone on the highway. Now in Mexico the police don't get involved in traffic accidents and instead leave it up to the insurance companies to arrive on the scene to deal with the accident. So i ended up working with the insurance company during our accident. Today was pretty fun though, we went out to the Sun Temple and Moon Temple out here, and it was pretty sweeet. Abby and I were the only ones that climed the Sun Temple and we all ended up climbing up as far as we could on the Moon temple (which was only one flight up). Things are good and the food is great. It might seem like I am complaining about the spanish, but I have instead thoroughly enjoyed the chance to help Mom and Dad.
